Pilot planned for 2027, subject to Central Bank of Eswatini approval.Protected payments for Eswatini

The first two products

Your kind of deal.
A clearer way to pay.

Goods between people. Vehicles changing hands. Go and Drive apply the same bank-held model to two different kinds of trade.

For everyday buyers and sellers

Themba Go

A phone you found online.
Furniture from someone across town.

Go is built for goods sold between people, including the deals that begin on Facebook Marketplace or in a WhatsApp group.

Agree on the item and delivery, confirm payment, then check that the goods match the deal before release under the agreed rules.

Proposed Go fees

  • Fee rate1.5%
  • Minimum feeE10.00
  • Maximum feeE500.00
  • Minimum goods dealE50.00

The fee is shown in emalangeni before the deal is accepted. These are proposed pilot fees, not a live quote.

For car buyers, private sellers and dealers

Themba Drive

The keys are one part.
Registration matters too.

Drive is built around a clear condition: the vehicle must be registered in the buyer’s name before the money is released, with compliance review.

It gives the vehicle sale its own process, rather than treating it like a parcel delivery.
